Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is opened and edited inside your browser and the result is created on your device. Nothing is sent to us, so nothing is stored.
Can I edit the existing text in a PDF?
Yes, in PDFs that contain real text: click a line to edit it. Scanned PDFs are pictures of pages, so their text cannot be changed directly — but you can still add new text on top.
Can I sign a PDF?
Yes. Choose Signature, draw your signature and place it on the page. This is a hand-drawn signature, not a certificate-based electronic signature.
Does white-out remove the text underneath?
Yes, where it can: text under the white-out is removed from the file, not just hidden. It cannot remove text that is part of an image, such as a scanned page. Before sharing anything confidential, check the result by trying to select or search the hidden text.
Can I edit a password-protected PDF?
If the PDF needs a password to open, remove it first with Unlock PDF — you need to know the password.
